I remember George W. Bush hugging a foreign leader; George H.W. Bush vomiting on a foreign leader; and, Ronald Reagan falling asleep with a foreign leader–but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an American president do this…
Isn’t this a bit damaging to our reputation? What did he do when he met Hu Jintao?

Years ago, my college roommate turned me onto the Terminator movies. Then I saw RoboCop 3 and thought that might be our future if we allowed government and industry too much control. Now, I thought Hollywood and www.coasttocoastam.com had driven my imagination out of control, but it turns out my fears are well-founded:

The common folk who work in the financial services–those that don’t sit in the corner offices, but run around the trading floors to make things happen–start shouting “no” to the stimulus bill.

“Obama has already reached the sort of legislative achievement that few of his predecessors achieved at ANY point in their tenure.” Caps are mine.
Three weeks in, and they are already looking to see if there is room up there on Mount Rushmore for him. I have a bit more respect for those presidents who enter into office with an opposition either in the Senate, House, or both. Wasn’t it yesterday that the media was saying how this bill was passed without any GOP support? It helps when you have Congress in the same party, and they had been planning to implement these kind of initiatives once Bush was out of office.

Change is here! And that change is that President Obama is changing his normally transparent ways and choosing when he answers questions, not when the press would like to ask them…even if he comes to their turf! Get used to it, you sycophants!

Here’s a funny video…may be considered GOP propaganda, but it is actually very telling, and should be viewed with concern by members of either party who are concerned about “following the money.”

The last eight years were so bad, that we Americans should be willing to let into office–for two of the most critical roles in an administration–people who are either lying, ignorant, or so brazen in their dissembling to clean up the mess. Why should we ask more questions or expect better leaders? I’m sorry, but for Obama to talk about the importance of ethics, and how we need to improve the quality of those who serve, I believe he’s feeding us another line. Once these issues were raised, he should have addressed them immediately as something he wanted to avoid. Can I claim ignorance when I forget to file my tax forms in April? No–none of us, including those people who shouted out the loudest for Obama, will be forgiven.
And, for a Deputy Attorney General to have approved the pardon of someone on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted List and then claim now that he didn’t know much about the case is a disgrace. http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=N2NmOGNhMDk5NTk3M2ZhZjA1NDhjNWQ5ZmU2YjhkZWQ=&w=MA
Media, continue your spinning and focusing on trivialities like the following to keep us in the dark!

Read this in the London Daily Mail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1119783/Obama-save-says-America-polls-wave-optimism-sweeping-nation.html
Now, I am no liberal Democrat, but even I have begun to think Obama can alter the current state of events by just his presence. Perhaps that is because I would like to see the economy take a turn for the better quickly, but perhaps I have been swept up in the Obamania.
The media has done its best to paint the economy as the worst ever for the United States, going back into early 2008, and that was primarily to ensure a Democrat won the White House. The continued negative coverage I believe is intended to enable Obama to look like a genius when the economy eventually takes a turn for the better, as it will, whether he were in office or Bozo the clown. That’s just the way the market works…
